Seeking to further strengthen the management structure in support
of future expansion, Johnathan Bulmer of Bulmers Logistics has
announced a Board restructure, introducing a new
senior management role to enhance the existing organisational
structure, taking the company forward over the next five years.
The company has a policy of recruiting experienced transport professionals
to facilitate growth, employing qualified senior transport personnel
at all levels from administration through to the Board of Directors.
The new Board appointment of Graham Morgan as Operations Director
allows Andy
Spence-Wolrich - previously Business Director for Haulage - to
use his considerable commercial skills and experience in a new
position as Commercial Director for the organisation. Finance
Director, Nick Scott is taking additional responsibility for Project
Management and IT development.
Graham Morgan joins Bulmers from the Stiller Group, where he was
employed as UK Operations Director. In his new role as Operations
Director for Bulmers, he assumes responsibility for all operational
aspects of the business, working closely with Johnathan Bulmer
and Andy as Commercial Director to achieve the company’s
ambitious growth and development plans.
“Continued business success is all about managing change,”
commented Johnathan. “The Board restructure allows me to
focus on identifying and exploiting new avenues for growth, including
evaluating strategic acquisitions where the opportunity arises.”
Graham Morgan brings to Bulmers over two decades of experience
in logistics management. “My new role at Bulmers presents
me with significant challenges and opportunities,” he stated.
“I look forward to using my established skills to enhance
the operational efficiency of the company in line with a structured
development programme, focused on the logistics market.”
Now recognised as one of the North’s leading logistic providers
of container and trailer haulage, dry bulk and liquids, servicing
all UK ports and railheads. Bulmers Logistics Ltd has realised
significant growth in terms of turnover and reputation since 2000,
and will be focusing on value added logistic contracts and services
in the future. Key to the company’s development plans is
investment in people in terms of training and rewards, building
a highly skilled and professional workforce meeting and exceeding
the challenges of the future.
